Logo and Animation Storyboard for a Streaming Service

I created an identity for a fictional streaming service, showing how the logo would function as an animated logo to serve as the opening animation when users open the service. The theme of the streaming service is contemporary and Indie film. Since I included clips from some films considered classics among the contemporary film world, I aimed to make the design clean, elegant, and timeless by using a black and white color palette. This palette reflects the minimalistic style characteristic of these films, providing a timeless feel to the service. Additionally, the use of an old film reel and projector throughout the design suggests the classic nature of the films that will be streamed. Endlessly flowing throughout the frames, the film reel’s movement represents the service’s slogan: “The Endless Pursuit of Film.” The name of the service simply suggests the purpose of it—to stream movies. Working off this idea, I designed the logo to serve as a graphic symbol of the purpose of the service while doubling as the letter to represent the name.
